Ikaika has been in the water since 2013 and is the school where our circle started. We do not recommend them because we evaluated them — we recommend them because they are the people we learned with and still surf with. That is the trust behind this collaboration.
Classes are in small groups or private. The team is multilingual — Spanish, English, Italian, French and German — and every morning they check the conditions before confirming where the session will take place. The pace and level adapt to you, not the other way around.
With them we learned to read the water, not just to stand up on a board. If you are looking for lessons that are genuinely worth it, this is our recommendation without hesitation.

Is it only for beginners, or also for people with some level?
Classes adapt to each person's level, from someone who has never stood on a board to someone polishing a specific part of their technique.
Can I book a private class instead of a group one?
Yes, just tell us if you'd rather go private or group when you message us on WhatsApp — both formats exist with Ikaika.
What formats are available and how much do they cost?
Ikaika offers three options. Group lesson: €35 per person — you learn alongside other surfers. Private group: €50 per person (minimum 2, from €100 total) — your group, your coach. 1-on-1 lesson: €80 — maximum technical attention. All three include board, wetsuit, booties, locker and shower.
Is there a discount for booking multiple classes?
Yes. Group lesson pack: 3 classes for €100, 5 for €150. Private group pack: 3 for €135, 5 for €200. 1-on-1 pack: 3 for €230, 5 for €370. Mention it when you message them on WhatsApp and they will confirm availability.
What happens if conditions aren't good that day?
The team checks the sea every morning before confirming the session. If conditions aren't safe, we find another time with you.
Is it suitable for kids?
Yes, from age 6 — the team adapts the pace and gear to their age. Tell us how old they are when you message on WhatsApp.
