How do I book an experience?
There is no checkout or booking form. Message us on WhatsApp and tell us how many people are coming and which day you have in mind. That date is a preference: the booking is confirmed when the company running the experience checks availability and lets you know.
Do I need previous surf, kayak or SUP experience?
No, not for most experiences. Each guide sets the pace for the group — if someone has never tried it before, the first few minutes are spent on that before heading out.
What happens if the sea or weather don't cooperate that day?
Guides decide on the day, not by a fixed calendar. If conditions aren't good, we find another day together — nobody goes out on the water if it isn't safe.
Can I come with a large group, or is it only for a few people?
Each experience has its own limit — usually small groups, because that's how the people running them work. You'll see it on each experience's page before you message us.
What does the “From” price mean?
It is the minimum price per person. Discounts may be available for large groups or when booking several days. The company running the experience confirms the final price before the booking is completed.
How do I pay?
You settle it directly with whoever runs the experience, usually on the day. There's no payment gateway on the site.
Can I change or cancel after messaging on WhatsApp?
Yes, but the company running the experience sets its own change and cancellation terms. Ask the company about them directly before confirming your booking.
Who is responsible for the activity?
The company delivering each experience is fully responsible for its organisation, operation and delivery. AfterSurf Guide selects and presents the experiences, but does not provide them.
Are you a tour agency or a booking platform?
No. We're Miguel and Noemi, and this is a selection of people from our own circle who do things we genuinely love — not a catalogue open to any provider.
Do you cover all of Tenerife, or just the south?
The spot map covers corners across the whole island, north and south. The organised experiences today are mostly in the south, because that's where our circle lives — we'll add more as we get to know trusted people in other areas.
