Barranco de Afur

One of the greenest valleys in Anaga, with a stream running from the mountains through laurel forest down to Playa Tamadite. The PR TF-8 trail descends 2.8 km from the village of Afur to the coast in about 45 minutes. Lush, damp and well off the tourist trail. To get there: from La Laguna take the Anaga road to the TF-136 turnoff for Afur; park in the village and the path starts from there.
