Charco del Viento
One of the best-known natural pools on Tenerife's north coast. The ocean pushes in between black lava formations to create a sheltered swimming spot, with the open Atlantic beyond. A short walk from the car park. No sand — just volcanic rock and clear water.

Before you go
How do I get to Charco del Viento?
By car on the TF-5 to the Santa Catalina neighbourhood. The access road is narrow and runs between greenhouses and banana plantations.
Where can I park at Charco del Viento?
Small car park, about 20 cars. In summer it is best to arrive early.
Is there public transport to Charco del Viento?
Buses stop on the TF-5, a walk from the coast. Check lines and timetables at titsa.com.
